Vermont.Be is a online publication, whose site is under a new design.

What is (dot)Be?

Be is Belgium…
I liked the name Vermont spelled out and .com and .org were taken….
I like “being” in Vermont, so, it works on a couple of levels.

And just FYI, the (dot)Be is called a TLD, a top level domain… a country code for the internet. Others include: (dot)Jp for Japan, (dot)UK for Britain, etc. You get the idea. An interesting thing about that is that the (dot)TV top level domain (TLD) is Tuvalu, a small South Pacific Island nation.

A Vision for Vermont.be

This site will be a news aggregator, a place for Vermont writers to highlight their work, and a place for dialog and discussion.

I am (trying to be) being creative in how to turn this online publication into a viable journal.

This, of course, requires money. And maybe a lot of it…. We’ll see.

But for now, a small regular income from advertising and classified ads, donations and investors will go a long way to bringing this vision of a lovely, approachable, rational online news source to fruition.

So, take out a classified… Help manifest this vision.
